Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi! I'm Ellie, one of Midwest BREW's Amazing Assortment of Retired Beagles! The end of 2015 was a rough time for me. My owner got sick and passed away, leaving me without a home. Thankfully, the nice folks at MW BREW took me in to help me find a new forever home. I had to have a large fatty tumor removed but, fortunately, it was totally benign. Now I'm healed up and ready to find my new family.
I'm a sweet, good-natured girl and I love people! I'm a snuggler and I love to hang out with my humans, getting pats, hugs, kisses, and belly rubs! I LOVE belly rubs! They are the best!!! I also enjoy chew bones, toys, exploring the yard, and going for walks. Like most beagles, I love food! I can get over excited over treats though when my foster beagle brothers are nearby so foster mom gives me treats and my food in my crate or separated from the others. Otherwise, I sometimes decide that I want all the treats and that doesn't work well with the other dogs.
I'm fully housetrained and crate trained. But, I'm such a good girl that I earned run of the house privileges very quickly here at my foster home. I'm a bit of a couch potato but I do enjoy play time with the other dogs and going for walks in the neighborhood. I walk really nicely on leash too.
So, if you're interested in a sweet, senior girl with a lot of love to offer, contact Midwest BREW and let them know! I'm quite the catch!
