This sweet and gentle soul is Puffer, a 12 year old Chinese Crested Powder Puff that is so deserving of a fresh start in life. Puffer came to us in the most awful condition. This poor guy had a home and someone that loved him for his whole life but when that person became terminally ill, his care was left up to someone else that provided him with no care whatsoever. Puffer was flea infested and matted, but the worst part was, his mouth was literally glued shut with a giant mat of hair and feces. Our veterinarian sedated Puffer and removed the mat, along with several of his neglected teeth and now, Puffer feels like a new man. He can eat and drink again and is ready to put this awful experience behind him and go off to a happy new life. Puffer is just so loving, quiet, and very sweet. He is perfectly behaved and doesn't ask for much more than a walk from time to time and a warm lap to take a snooze in. He gets along fine with cats, and likes dogs that are mellow and well behaved like him. If you can offer him the great life that he deserves, please come in and meet our lovely little Puffer.
