Here's what the humans have to say about me:
MEET REESE, THE FOREVER KITTEN!
This adorable patched/swirled Tabby (Tabbico?) was just hours from euthanasia at Philly's animal control shelter when a City of Elderly Love foster family stepped in to save her! We're so glad we did, because she turned out to be the sweetest, most affectionate cat! Reese deserves a wonderful family to love her for the rest of her days, and at only about 10 years old, she has a lot of life left to live!
Since joining the rescue, we've learned that Reese is an easygoing girl who likes to use her scratchy toys, but takes the most pleasure from being around people. She also likes to give kisses! This affectionate girl would be the ultimate companion for an individual looking for a new low-key friend, but would also make a wonderful family cat, as she gets along great with calmer/older kids (she's currently living with two!). With proper introductions, Reese will do well in a home with dogs and other cats as well. Reese may be petite, weighing in just around 7 lbs. (a forever kitten!) but has a great appetite and a big personality. This little lady is going to make one lucky family/person very happy - could it be you?
Reese is available for adoption through City of Elderly Love. She is spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped! She is also FIV & FeLV negative. Reese was diagnosed with a mild grade heart murmur when she came to the shelter, but it causes her no discomfort and recent diagnostics proved that her heart is fine! She was also diagnosed with decreased kidney function, but requires no medication and just eats a special kidney diet to keep her feeling great. Interested in meeting her?
