Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Chilly is a 10 month old pure breed Shepherd that has tons of love to give. She is still a pup so is still learning the basic commands. She was rescued from an abuse/neglect situation, but has quickly come out of her shell. Basically, she is a bit shy around new people and is still hesitant when people reach towards her head in a fast manner. You can clearly see she was hit. Despite that, she is very comfortable around our 9 year old son and is learning quick that she needs to be calmer around him than us adults. She is very submissive, gets along with all other dogs and does try to play with other dogs every chance that she can get. She is in a foster home with 3 other old dogs. Chilly is very smart and has learned to walk on the leash, use the doggie door and climb stairs within a day. She is extremely happy and playful with people and other dogs. She isn’t a chewer at least when she is exercised enough so leaving her in the house when not home with a doggie door is probably an option. Otherwise crating would also work. She lets herself out the doggie door when she needs to go potty. The picture shown isn’t the best quality, but shows that she is a great hiker. She would also make an awesome running partner. Chilly loves to cuddle, give kisses and play with toys. Let me know if you have any questions or would like to meet this sweet girl. We aren’t expecting her to last long!
