found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.
I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.
This handsome one-eyed wonder is named Sirius! Sirius is a ~9 year old black and white Cocker Spaniel who came to a local animal shelter as a stray with an injured eye. The shelter jumped into action and removed his ulcerated eye and he's feeling so much better already! City of Elderly Love was happy to step in to help expedite his adoption - he's now safe in foster care and on the hunt for his forever home!
Sirius is currently living with other dogs of all sizes, a couple cats, and even kids! He gets along with everyone famously and has had a very easy transition into his foster home. We've come to learn that Sirius really loves to eat which is evident by him being a bit pudgy. Sirius is now on an appropriate diet to help him drop a few pounds, though he does try to bully his canine foster siblings away from their food bowls if his foster parents aren't keeping an eye on him. He'll need to remain on an appropriate diet in his future home so that he doesn't carry too much weight on his legs and joints. Sirius is housebroken and is also being crate trained now, though likely doesn't need to be crated. This smart and affectionate guy also enjoys a good car ride, LOVES to snuggle up on soft blankets and laps. Sirius would make a great addition to most families, especially those looking for a medium-energy, happy-go-lucky guy who might look a little different, but has a personality of gold!
Sirius is available for adoption through City of Elderly Love. He is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. He is also heartworm and lymes disease negative and recently had his teeth professionally cleaned! Interested in adopting him?
