Maverick would be the perfect family pet. He was picked up as a stray, unfortunately no one came to claim him and he came to us at the end of his time in the shelter. The vet thinks he is 12 -18 months old, and possibly a giant schnauzer/border collie mix, He weighs around 45 pounds. He is a sweet pup and very loving. He is great with all the other dogs, loves kids, but we do not know about cats.

His foster mom is working on his house training and he is doing very well.

He is heart worm negative, has been neutered, brought up to date on all his vaccines and has been started on monthly prevention for fleas, ticks and heartworms. this sweet boy is so very ready fro a family of his own.

His adoption fee is $200. We are an all volunteer, 501(c)(3) group, so all funds go right back into the care of these and future wonderful pups.
