Spirit's Story...
Union City, NJ
Hi everyone! Meet SPIRIT~ and adorable little 38 pound sweetie who was recently rescued from Death Row at the Brooklyn ACC!
She has arrived safely to her foster home and is settling in nicely! Here is what her foster mom has to say about her~
She is very kind and super loving. She has a nice balance of energy, she loves to play fetch, but also likes to lounge around the house too! She is very well housebroken and well mannered when left alone (all my shoes are untouched!) She is tidy with her food bowl :)
Spirit needs leash work, especially when she is around other dogs. She isn't aggressive, but she can become excitable. With time and training (which of course EVERY dog needs!) this little girl will continue to blossom into a very wonderful little companion. She is so happy around everyone she meets! When she is out on the street, everyone wants to greet her!
Spirit would love to meet you today!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Spirit, a New York Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in New York, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in New York.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in New York already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a New York breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in New York paves the way for another one to be saved.
