Mayfield's Story...
MAYFIELD - Labrador Retriever Mix, Black and White, 30 pounds, neutered male, DOB: 2/18/2015. Mayfield is such a smart and sweet boy who loves people and going for walks. He seems to be fine with other dogs, but we always suggest a meeting to ensure a smooth transition to a new home. Mayfield is very friendly and has a wonderful disposition. Mayfield takes a daily dose of fish oil for his skin and shiny coat and should continue taking this supplement. He is a wiggly bundle of love and has a real zest for life. Mayfield is energetic and would love to be your running partner or accompany you on trips to the park. If you are looking for a wonderful companion to add to your family, please stop by or contact Crabapple Knoll Veterinary Clinic in Alpharetta, GA. 770.475.8272.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mayfield, a Alpharetta Labrador Retriever/Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Alpharetta, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Alpharetta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Alpharetta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Alpharetta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Alpharetta paves the way for another one to be saved.
