Velvet's Story...
Beautiful Velvet is as soft as her name implies. With medium hair and brilliant golden eyes she is just adorable. A little bit on the shy side when she first meets someone new, all it takes is a little bit of play and one or two pets, and then she is putty in your hands. She loves to be held tucked under your chin or leaning over your shoulder. Velvet enjoys catnip filled toys quite a lot and can play with them for a long time. She also likes to chase paper wads. Velvet is already spayed, up to date on her shots, tested negative for FeLV and FIV, and is microchipped. She has been on a flea regiment of kitten Revolution, with regular flea combing and her fur shines! An application, safety home check, landlord approval if renting, and an adoption fee of $80 is required. Discount to seniors, military/veterans, and proof of disability. You can meet Velvet by appointment or at Petco. Contact or 707-441-9502

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Velvet, a Eureka Domestic Mediumhair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Eureka, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair kitten from a breeder in Eureka.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Eureka already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Eureka breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Eureka paves the way for another one to be saved.
