Stone's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, and good with kids.

Stone's Story...
Meet Stone, she is a nine-month-old little dilute tortoiseshell. A lovely family in Richmond found her and got her all the shots she needed and will be getting her spayed as well. They would like to find this beauty a forever home. She's a little bit shy in the beginning but very sweet and loving. She will make a wonderful companion.

If you would like to meet Stone, please call Debbie, Jake's Place Adoption Manager at 415-548-0824 or visit http://www.jakesplacecatrescue.org.

Stone is considered a Courtesy Listing. We offer our services to help other responsible rescue groups or individuals find good homes for cats in need. We have screened and interviewed each of the individuals before agreeing to post their cats.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Stone, a Novato Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Novato, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Novato.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Novato already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Novato breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Novato paves the way for another one to be saved.
