Here's what the humans have to say about me:
There is SO much to tell you about Rio.
We found him at a City shelter with two cherry eyes and a dermoid in his left eye. He was 40 pounds underweight, hunched over, hiding in corners, flinching when anyone came near him. And we found out he had been abandoned by his people
Definitely a Dawg Squad dog!
3 eye surgeries later, 4 weeks of foster care, and Rio is finally coming out of his shell. He's more confident, gaining weight and beginning to explore his world.
Rio still has his quirks. After he finishes eating he takes his food bowl to bed with him as if he's afraid someone will take his bowl (food) away. And he still prefers sleeping in corners, so that's where his fosters put his bed. Baby steps.
Rio is great with all dogs, good with cats and fabulous with kids. He's amazing!
