Nubs's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Nubs's Story...
Hi my name is Nubs! I am a 2 to 3 year old English or American Foxhound mix neutered male with a lot of love to give. I get along well with other dogs and have no problems with toddlers, as a matter of fact I won't turn down any chance to play whether it be human or dog. I am house trained and love to use a doggy door, but if I need to I can do well in a kennel.

At bed time, when the lights go out, I like to jump in bed and cuddle as I fall asleep until the morning. My foster parents are working on giving me proper manners when it comes to jumping on furniture and people when I am excited.

I will probably do best in a home with a high fence as I can jump up to 6 ft. I really hope to meet someone who will give me unconditional love and take me on walks or play at the park.

For more information or to meet me, please complete an Adoption Interest form and please email adopt@valleydogs.org

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Nubs, a Gilbert Foxhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Foxhound for sale in Gilbert, or seeking a Foxhound dog from a breeder in Gilbert.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Gilbert already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Gilbert breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Foxhound breeders who help with Foxhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Gilbert paves the way for another one to be saved.
