My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This handsome young man is Jynx. (Formally named Cheto) Jynx is an approximately 1 year-old Italian Greyhound/Chihuahua mix (or a Greyhuahua), who came to us with his sister Jodi when her previous owner needed to down size the number of dogs in her home.

Jyxn is a bit of an independent young man until he gets to know you. He does enjoy attention, sitting with you and being petted, but he is not a “velcro” dog. Jynx has learned to walk on a leash while he has been in foster, but is still a little hesitant and so his new owners will need to continue to do a little positive re-enforcement in this regard. Jynx loves his crate and will go right into it when it at night, or when he is feeling scared or insecure. Although he was not very social when he first came to us, his foster has been very good about exposing Jynx to new people and things, and he is becoming more and more confident in this regard, although he may always be a bit reserved around new people and things. However, once he is comfortable with you, you are his BFF.

Jynx will also need a home where he can be inside most of the time as he will be susceptible to the extreme temperatures here in the Valley. Although Jynx is of a sturdier build than his sister Jodi, when he is outside precautions are still recommended due to his size.
