Hi! My name is Dobby! I am a Lab Mix, not quite sure what the “other” part is but I look and act like a lab. My past was not so fun, 5 homes, abuse and neglect. But today I am a happy, loving, friendly big boy who would love to find my forever home.
I love to play ball and carry a tennis ball around in my mouth just for fun. I also love to swim, go for walks, and ride in the car. Oh, and I also love sitting in the grass outside and sunbathing.
I have had professional training and have learned lots of new things. I don’t prevent visitors from entering the door I just go lay on my bed. I wait until you have put my food bowl down and tell me it’s ok to go eat. I do not pull on my leash. I am still learning not to whine at other dogs I see while I am walking but am much much better than I was when my foster Mom rescued me. I have made leaps and bounds in a lot of other areas also.
I would do best with someone who wanted to stay home with me most of the time. I have learned in my past that my people may not come home for a very very long time. So I like to have my people close to me. I will be your shadow.
