Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi - I'm Baylee. I was wandering aimlessly until I was picked up and rescued by Midwest BREW. I'm 17 pounds and about 3 years old. My foster Mom is always kissing me and telling me what a special girl I am. I don't bark or bay, I'm not food aggressive, and I don't dig (but I do get tempted if there is enough room under the fence for me to wriggle through!)
I haven't met a stranger that I don't like; I get along with everyone I meet (although foster Mom doesn't have any cats or little children, so we don't know about that yet). I do have a big Dalmatian brother and we get along just great.
I love to go on walks and rides in the car (that's where I take some of my best naps). I think my favorite time is snuggling on laps though, or at least being in the same room . . . I'm just a people pup!! She said to tell you I'm a gentle and patient little girl. I'm also housetrained, and Foster Mom is trying to help me learn to ring the bell when I want to go out.
Foster Mom is teaching me manners. I already know how to sit when I come in from outside because I know she will give me a treat. I'm also learning 'down', but foster Mom keeps laughing at me because I seem to have a little trouble getting all the way down; my butt keeps sticking up !!
OK, time for me to fess up . . . I don't really like crates. I have a habit of shredding any blanket or towel you give me, and I've been known to put up a fight against the crate tray too. When Foster Mom confined me to the kitchen (but not in the crate), I did chew on her breakfast bar chair legs a little. I'm so much happier when my humans are home, so maybe I would fit in best in a home with someone who is retired or works from home or a big family so that someone is always there with me until I learn to like crates a little more.
Does it sounds like I would be a good fit to live with you . . . if so, what are you waiting for??
