Fritzey (Spayed)'s Story...
"Fritzey" is a beautiful 2-year old female Calico kitty who was surrendered by her owner on October 17, 2016. "Fritzey" has a black/orange/white short smooth coat in a calico pattern, a rather long body, long tail, and a very pretty face with amethyst-colored eyes, a pink nose, and a cute black goatee. This little beauty thoroughly enjoyed her 15-minutes of fame while she had her glamour photos taken and loved exploring every 'nook and cranny' in our studio :) Her previous owner told us that "Fritzey" has been an exclusive indoor-only kitty and that she is good with children. She has never been around other dogs or cats. "Fritzey" was given vaccinations, wormer, and flea medication on October 17, 2016. She weighs 8.2 lbs. and has already been spayed. The adoption fee for "Fritzey" would be $20 with an approved adoption application. "Fritsey" was combo tested on January 18, 2017 and is negative for feline leukemia, FIV, and heartworm.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Fritzey (Spayed), a Marietta Calico cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Calico for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Calico cat from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Calico breeders who help with Calico rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
