Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi everyone, my name is Jake and I am an 11 year old male border collie with classic black and white markings. I had a rough first 11 years, being left out in the backyard. The only attention I got was when my old owner played ball with me. I love to play ball or fetch, I do not care what it is, if you throw it I will chase after it as fast as I can. I am also really good at jumping to catch toys. My foster dad cannot believe I am 11, he keeps telling me I am 11 going on 2.....I don't know what that means, all I know is I like to play ball. I am a little weary of new situations, but once I trust you I will be your best friend and will not want to ever leave the house. My foster dad is working on leash training with me, but the leash scares me because I do not want to leave my foster dad's house. I guess someday I will learn to like it because my foster dad keeps giving me treats when we go on short walks. I get along really well with his 3 border collies and I love all the visitors he has over to his house, just means more people to throw a ball or toy for me. I do love to cuddle up with my foster dad once it is bed time. Anyways, I cannot wait to have my own forever home......will you be the one to throw the ball for me and let me cuddle with you at night?
