My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

"Era" is a lovely 3-month old female Tuxedo kitten who was brought to the HSOV on October 3, 2016 by a compassionate gentleman who surely save this little girl's life. That kind man had seen this tiny kitten fending for herself in order to survive and intervened when others were throwing rocks at her to chase her away :( "Era" was a very frightened baby when we first saw her, and we could only imagine the treatment she had endured :( :( Our kennel techs and volunteers gave her the love she had never known, and she began responding to their kindness. "Era" gradually began to trust them and within a few days she let them give her baths so that her dingy dirty coat was once again sparkling white-and-black. This beautiful little lady has a black-and-white short smooth coat in a tuxedo pattern white socks on her paws, a long tail, and an adorable face with green/gold eyes, extra-long white whiskers, and a patch of white on her left side of her muzzle. She was spayed on October 12, 2016 and was also given rabies vaccine. She is very petite and weighed just 2.8 lbs. on that date. "Era" is certainly a different little kitten today than she was just a few weeks ago :) When we took these updated photos on October 24th, "Era" purred constantly and loved being carried around and snuggled in our arms. She will make some lucky person or family a wonderful companion. The adoption fee for "Era" is $20 with an approved adoption application. Who says money can't buy happiness?? "Era" went home with one of our fabulous foster mothers on October 29, 2016. She is still available for adoption/foster and is being loved, pampered, and spoiled until she finds a permanent home.
