Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Ellie came into Animal Care and Control as a stray frightened 6-month old kitten. She was brought in with 5 other cats, so Ellie tried her hardest to hide away behind those other cats, and make herself unseen. And she was right to do so! Only days upon her intake she found herself on the dangerous kill list. Luckily Empty Cages was there to help her out.
Ellie is shy with new humans but she is also curious and willing to give love. When ECC volunteers first met Ellie, it seemed all she wanted to do is disappear into her new cat home, but minutes into the petting session, Ellie started to purr, and move her body all around so she could catch some extra petting strokes. She also enjoys playing with cat toys and looking out the window at the birds outside. All this beautiful girl needs is some unconditional love, stability, patience and she will flourish to be a companion like no other. Once in our care, Ellie has friended every cat she has ever met, and she would love to find a home with one of her friends or in a home that has one or more cats. Can you provide this for Ellie?
Elie is approximately 2 years old, spayed, up to date with her shots, and tested negative for FeLV and FIV.If you are interested in fostering or adopting this baby girl, get in touch- email adopt@emptycagescollective.org.
