Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Three-year-old Woodstock has been with Home Fur Good since January. He is a Muppet of a dog--an interesting-looking character with his underbite, flowing ear hair, and go-their-own-way eyebrows. Woodstock is also an entertainer; whether he is intentionally putting on a show or just trying to amuse himself, he will make you smile with his dainty little prance and mind-of-its-own curly tail. He is a 16-pound Schnauzer mix who loves to be a part of the pack. Woodstock is a member of the Small Dog Playgroup. Over the few months he has been a member, he has always been open to new dogs entering the group. He is happy to play chase, go for walks, or just hang out. Since arriving at HFG, Woodstock has learned what a leash is. It will still make him a little jumpy to be leashed up or picked up too quickly, but he is just trying to avoid trouble; he is not going to be aggressive at all. Once he is in your arms he will calm down and snuggle in. Give him a kiss on the head and then he will want to be off to play. Woodstock will be happy to become a member of your pack; he merely asks for a little patience and some yummy treats, and he will become your biggest fan. The adoption fee is $200 and includes spaying/neutering, age-appropriate vaccinations, microchipping, and a free wellness visit with our vet. Our adoption hours are Thursday-Saturday from 11:00 am-4:00 pm, and Mondays by appointment, and we are located at 10220 N. 32nd Street (just south of Shea Blvd.) in Phoenix. Out-of-state adoptions to surrounding states are possible; however, an in-person introduction with us and our dogs is mandatory. We offer a low-cost vaccine clinic on Sundays from 11:00 am-2:30 pm, and a low-cost dental clinic on Wednesdays by appointment. Visit our website at www.homefurgood.org for more information.
