Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Gabby, a beautiful 6-to-7-year-young Tortie Calico kitty who lost her elderly guardian and has been living with good samaritans.
Gabby was raised primarily as a single, very affectionate kitty but her temporary home is full of cats and she would be much better off in a household where she is either the only kitty or with just one other to “compete with” for attention. She prefers human companionship to feline however she has been socialized with dogs and she gets along fine with her canine counterparts assuming they don’t bug her too much! =^..^=
This girl loves to sit in your lap and particularly likes to have her head scratched. She may be a little bit hard of hearing, but responds well to visual cues, especially involving food. She loves canned cat food and meaty left overs. Most recently she’s been enjoying PetGuard canned cat food.
Miss Gabby has excellent house manners. She is litter box trained (likes to have her own box if possible - who doesn’t!?) and current on her vaccinations.
Uniqueness alert! This girl is a polydactyl! That extra digit is just one more cute quality about Gabby.

Gabby is considered a Courtesy Listing. We offer our services to help other responsible rescue groups or individuals find good homes for cats in need. We have screened and interviewed each of the individuals before agreeing to post their cats.
