Here's what the humans have to say about me:
"Peggy Sue" is a beautiful 4-year old female kitty who arrived at the HSOV on March 6, 2017 and joined several of her previous housemates who had been surrendered after their mistress had passed away.
"Peggy Sue" has a pale brown tabby coat with orange/bronze highlights, a short bobtail, and a darling face with green/gold eyes. This little sweetheart has a quiet, rather demure, disposition and a friendly personality. She loves the security of small cardboard boxes and is usually nestled inside one in the corner of her cage :)
"Peggy Sue" is being listed as a 'Special Needs Kitty' since, because of a birth defect, she was born with a partial right front leg She doesn't realize that she is any different than other cats and gets along fine. If you look closely at her photos, the half-leg is visible.
"Peggy Sue" is a petite little lady who weighs just 5 lbs. We hope that a compassionate individual will adopt this special kitty and give her the great home she deserves :) "Peggy Sue" will be spayed (at no cost to her new family) before being adopted. She is available for foster/rescue at any time.
Rescue groups may contact our Feline Rescue Coordinator via email (sharonpaul2@suddenlink.net). We can usually help with transportation and also provide combo testing without charge to rescues/fosters.
UPDATE: "Peggy Sue" was spayed on March 29, 2017 and was also given rabies vaccine.
