Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi, my name is Macey. I am a super sweet girl and so happy. My tail never stops wagging. I love playing with the other dogs here. I can entertain myself as well. Foster mom says I’m really funny and I make her laugh with the way I play. I toss the toys in the air and even throw tennis balls then chase them. As much as I like to play with the other dogs, when it comes to being around people I want all the attention.
I follow foster mom everywhere she goes. If she goes into a room and closes the door I sit outside the door and whine. I’m also great at giving kisses and snuggling. Plus I have the softest fur. It’s like silk. And of course look at my gorgeous face. I’m quite stunning aren’t I?
I am housetrained. Although I haven’t figured out how to let foster mom know when I need to go out. I just follow the other dogs lead. I get super excited when it is time to eat and wiggle and jump up and down and run in circles. I need to be in a crate when eating cause I try to take the other dogs food and they don’t like that. I probably wouldn’t be good around little kids for this reason because I tend to try and snatch food out of hands. So I need some work on being more polite around food. I’m a very food driven beagle. I stay in a crate when foster mom’s at work. I really don’t like it and will fuss for a bit. But I calm down after a while and am pretty good after that.
I can get quite vocal so I would not do well living in an apartment. You’ll need to be very careful when opening doors because I am really fast and will bolt out the door. A fenced yard would be great for me to run around and play in to burn off some energy but I’d need to be supervised when out there because I can jump pretty high and could probably jump a shorter fence.
I like to go for walks but I tend to pull and am more interested in what is around me than actually walking. And I love to say hi to the other dogs even if they are on the other side of the street.I also love all the people that I meet.
So if you are looking for a happy, playful and all around awesome girl then I may be the one for you.
