Facts about Konani

  • Breed: Domestic Shorthair
  • Color: White
  • Age: Young
  • Sex: Female
  • Hair: Short
Noticed barely surviving on the streets with an injured leg, Konani was trapped and brought to us. It was discovered she had two severe fractures in her right hind leg and amputation was the kindest thing to do. Now she is free from pain with a full belly, a comfy bed, and all the attention she could want. She was very frightened at first, but she has settled in beautifully and purrs and purrs for someone kind enough to pet and scratch her and is evening discovering the joys of a warm lap. She also LOVES other cats, so we’d like to see her go to a home with feline companionship. Konani is spayed, UTD on vaccines, dewormed, flea treated, FIV/FeLV tested negative, and now that she is healing well, ready for her forever home!

About Second Chance Animal Sanctuaries

About Our Shelter...

We are a 501 C 3 organization that focuses on stray and abandoned animals in need of help. We are no-kill and strive to offer our residents as much individual attention and care in an environment that is as low-stress as possible.

Come Meet Our Pets...

We are located in northcentral PA approximately 2.5 miles off Route 287. Our facility is open Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays 12-5 with other times readily available by appointment.

Our Adoption Process...

Our adoption process is intended to be as simple and straight-forward as possible. We are passionate about pairing animals in need with loving families who would best suit their individual needs. Applications can be filled out and submitted on our website, in person, by fax, email, or even phone, and they generally take less than 24 hours to process. Any potential adopters are always welcome and are invited to spend as much time as they would like getting to know their new family member.
