Zippy's Story...
NYC - Zippy is a 20 pound Yorkshire Terrier mix, estimated to be 8 or 9 years old, who is full of love. His favorite things are going for long walks, playing with toys and balls, chewing on bones, and snacking on veggies! Zippy came from the ACC and shows signs of past abuse and as a result may take some time to come out of his shell. He is definitely a survivor! He is friendly with some smaller dogs, though prefers to be with human companions (probably not young children). Zippy has been recently neutered, had his teeth cleaned, and is up-to-date on his vaccines. He'd love a yard to explore but has done well in an apartment. Zippy thrives in a regular schedule and loves to snuggle. He will undoubtedly bring lots of energy and joy to a forever home!
