Hi my name is Opie and I am a 13 pound young, 1 year old male Schipperke Chihuahua mix. I am a good boy who is friendly and playful. I am a little shy at first but once I am comfortable in my new home then you will see me shine. I am well behaved and appear to be past the chewing stage.

I was rescued from an apartment complex where I was living outside so there is not much history prior to my rescue. I have been in foster with several other dogs and I seem to do well with most. I have not been around cats. I also seem to prefer female dogs. I love all the toys I can play with at my foster Mom's house and I especially love it when I get a new toy.

I am kennel trained and house trained. I would do well in a home with adults and perhaps older children. I would not be a good fit for a home with younger children due to my size. I have been neutered, up to date on vaccinations and micro chipped.
