My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This little cutie is Rico. Rico is a 8 pound Chihuahua and is 7 years old. Rico and Sammy (listed separately) came to us after their owner passed away. A neighbor made sure they made it to a rescue where they would find good forever homes. They had always been well cared for and are wonderful little dogs.
Rico is the perfect little lap dog. He loves to be picked up and carried. But he can also have a big dog attitude. He loves to lay on the back of a couch or chair and watch what goes on in the neighborhood. He is happy to let you know when he sees something interesting. Rico loves to have a busy day mixed with playing in the yard, eating, looking out the window, taking a little walk and then ending the day by cuddling in bed with his people.
It would be nice to keep Sammy and Rico together, but we don’t think it is necessary as long as they both have other dogs in their new homes. Obviously, Rico does well with other dogs besides Sammy. Rico is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped and housetrained. He likes everyone, but we would not recommend him to a home with small children because of his small size.
