My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

"Thelma & Louise" are a pair of cute 5-week old female kittens who arrived at the HSOV on May 5, 2017 after they were rescued from beneath a church in Belpre Ohio by HSOV Humane Officers. Their mother and one sibling are still at that location, and our humane officers have set live traps in hopes of rescuing them as well. (UPDATE: Their little sister "Scarlett" was caught and joined her siblings on May 9, 2017)

There was a neutered male cat (whom we've named "Church") in the trap on May 6th and he is surely part of their family :) "Church" has been placed with the three kittens and they dearly love him. So we've began calling him "Uncle Church" or "Mr. Mom" since he has assumed the role of surrogate mother to them :)

"Thelma" has a gray tabby short smooth coat, a long tail, and an adorable gray-and-white kitten face. She weighs 1.4 lbs.

"Louise" has a black short smooth coat, a long tail, and a darling kitten face. She weighs 1.2 lbs.

These baby girls are pretty frightened at the moment (and who could blame them). They are usually snuggled up together and putting up a brave front to hide their fear.

"Thelma & Louise" will be available for adoption when they are old enough to be spayed. They would be available for foster/rescue at the present time.
