Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Cooper is a 3 year old Male Neutered Black Lab.
He has had a difficult life so far, he was surrendered to a shelter in MN and was adopted by my uncle last fall. My uncle was in failing health at the time and was in and out of the hospital.
He came to be with me back in January. Cooper does absolutely wonderfully with my family. He is very smart and loving. His issue is that he will growl at certain people that he does not know. He has not bitten anyone, but we constantly have people in and out of our house and many are children. I cannot in good conscience keep a dog that I cannot trust. Cooper would be perfect in a quiet house.
We had a 16 year old dog when he came and he did great with her, never had any problems.
He is not used to being around cats. I have not seen him be aggressive but he is curious and gets overwhelming to them as he gets very excited.
He has a wonderful and goofy lab personality. He is crate trained, house broken, walks on a leash, knows basic commands, not food aggressive, and is eager to please. He also loves the water.
He would do best with older children.
