Here's what the humans have to say about me:
MEET BOBBI!
Don't miss your opportunity to snap up this rare and elusive tail-less chunky monkey! After 10 years of living with her family, Bobbi's owner's health prevented them from giving Bobbi the care they felt she deserved. She was surrender to ACCT in hopes of finding her a loving new home. Now Bobbi is in foster care and ready to meet you!
Bobbi is a beautiful calico manx (no tail!) with sweet eyes and a quiet demeanor that exude love and warmth. She's an easy-going girl who loves to sit and watch the world go by. After about a week of having her very own bedroom in her foster home, she's now given run of the house during the day and evening. She doesn't seem to mind the resident cat, and seems to prefer to hang out in her room, laying in her kitty bed or looking out from the window sill. She loves to be scratched and gently petted. She needs a little bit longer to settle in with the resident dogs in the home since they are loud and rambunctious, but her foster family has faith she can live with dogs is given time to adjust. She loves eating, and uses her litter box like a champ. She also loves the occasional sprinkle of catnip. Bobbi is an absolute pleasure to have as a foster kitty (perhaps the easiest!), and her foster family can only imagine how much she will blossom in her forever home. Bobbi's foster family thinks she would make a great apartment kitty for a small, quiet family looking for an easy-going companion.
Bobbi visited the vet and received a physical examination, senior bloodwork evaluation and a urinalysis. Everyone at the vet's office remarked at how completely well-behaved and tolerant she was during the entire vet visit! The doctor think's Bobbi is about 11 years old, but said that her teeth are in such good shape that it's really hard to know for sure. Bobbi's bloodwork and urinalysis all came back normal! The vet also mentioned that Bobbi could stands to lose a few pounds, and her foster family has put her on an appropriate diet of high-quality dry food to start her slow, healthy weight loss. The vet heard a minor heart murmur, but remarked that this is normal for animals her age.
Bobbi is currently residing at COEL's adoption kennels at Pet Supplies Plus in Phoenixville, PA! You can stop by to meet her any day at 700 Nutt. Rd. Phoenixville, PA 19460!
Bobbi is available for adoption through City of Elderly Love. She is spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. She is also FIV and FeLV negative. Interested in adopting her? Visit www.cityofelderlylove.org to complete an online adoption questionnaire or email us at info@cityofelderlylove.org!
