My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Little Gidget (or Gidgey) is a complete dream of a dog. Her background is a total mystery, but she hasn't let anything dampen her spirits. Gidge is all butt wiggles and kisses. Even though she doesn't see very well, that doesn't stop her in the slightest. She gets along great with people and other dogs, and she will soon be cat tested, but honestly this dog doesn't have a mean bone in her little body! Nothing melts our hearts more than when a caretaker picks her up and she rests her head on their shoulder as if to say, "I love you." We can't wait to see Gidget find her forever family! She is now spayed, dewormed, flea treated, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped!

Please be aware that studies show that visual breed identification, even by experts, is often not entirely accurate. Because PetFinder requires breeds be selected, we do our best to be as accurate as possible, but we have no way to be sure. All of our dogs get individualized attention and care to get to know them as thoroughly as possible, and we urge adopters to consider who they are as individuals, not the breeds that are selected for their profiles.

We do not ask for set adoption fees but instead show adopters the medical expenses we have invested in the individual animal and ask for a donation. All adoption donations go 100% toward the care of our wonderful animals!
