Mia's Story...
http://www.valleydogs.org/dogs/other_mia&taffy.html

Hi we are Mia & Taffy. We come from a great home. Our dad has had us since we were puppies. Unfortunately due to losing his home and other personal tragedy he is forced to find us a good home. We currently live with a friend of dads and need a loving permanent home.

Mia is a female Black Lab who is about 4 years old. Mia has a very big tongue which is longer then her face. Mia is very loveable and is good around cats, kids, & dogs once introduced. She loves to eat and can hog the food sometimes. She loves to go on walks, is housetrained, knows most commands and is very loyal. Mia is up to date on her shots.

Taffy is a female Golden Retriever (just shaved in these pictures) who is about 6 years old. Taffy is a dog who loves to get attention. Once you start to pet her, she won't let you stop. She like Mia is good around cats, kids, & dogs once introduced. Taffy loves to chew on bones and like Mia can be a hog with the bones. Taffy also loves to go on walks, is housetrained, and knows most commands. She is also up to date on her shots.

We need to be adopted together.

If I am the type of dog you are looking for, please give my owners an email at dust71@cox.net.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mia, a Gilbert Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Gilbert, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Gilbert.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Gilbert already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Gilbert breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Gilbert paves the way for another one to be saved.
