Lola's Story...
http://www.valleydogs.org/dogs/other_lola.html

Hi name is Lola I was found running around in and out of traffic in the middle of a major intersection. I was extremely happy to be rescued and on the ride home I couldn't help but give as many kisses as I could to my dad so I curled up in my dads lap and went to sleep. I am extremely friendly and have not met a person I don't love. My favorite past times are wrestling and playing all day with my buddy Guiness, cuddling with anyone I can, and watching TV with my owners. I am house broken, know how to sit, and love to be outside and playing in the sun. My owner is really sad he can't keep me but he is a college student that travels a lot and cannot afford the time and money it takes to take care of me. I love to be around people and to give kisses whenever I can and I am just looking to a good home to go to where the people will love me as much as I love them.

If I am the type of dog you are looking for, please give my owners an email at jhowens@asu.edu.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lola, a Gilbert American Pit Bull Terrier/American Staffordshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier/American Staffordshire Terrier for sale in Gilbert, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier/American Staffordshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Gilbert.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Gilbert already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Gilbert breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier/American Staffordshire Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier/American Staffordshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Gilbert paves the way for another one to be saved.
