Dodger's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Dodger's Story...
Dodger was found running around Dodger Stadium by one of our volunteers. Poor little guy has a broken foot which is healing nicely and it definitely does not slow him down. He is currently in foster care and is doing great with a 3 year old male Rottweiler and a variety of puppies & other dogs. Even the live in Chow Chow likes him. Dodger will need another dog to keep him company and we think a female dog would be his perfect companion. No cats. He does need leash work and obedience training but he should have no problem learning quickly. Our vet thinks he is a sweetheart. Dodger is crate trained.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dodger, a West Los Angeles Golden Retriever/American Staffordshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever/American Staffordshire Terrier for sale in West Los Angeles, or seeking a Golden Retriever/American Staffordshire Terrier dog from a breeder in West Los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in West Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a West Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever/American Staffordshire Terrier breeders who help with Golden Retriever/American Staffordshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in West Los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
