Molly's Story...
Molly is a tiny, super-sweet 7 yr. old purebred Maltese. She was with the same people her whole life but they stopped paying attention to her. She had bad skin allergies and ear and bladder infections. They also kept her outside and just threw food at here. She had gotten quite pudgy for such a little dog. Her hair was so matted that she had to be shaved. Our Vet heard about her and asked the owners if they would give her Molly so that she might receive better care. They agreed. Molly is slimmed down and almost ready for a new home. Because of her skin allergy issues she will require daily oral medication and special weekly baths. She would do best in a home where she'll receive a lot of attention and snuggling. She should be placed in a home with adults/older children home

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Molly, a West Los Angeles Maltese dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maltese for sale in West Los Angeles, or seeking a Maltese dog from a breeder in West Los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in West Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a West Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maltese breeders who help with Maltese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in West Los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
