Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Gnocchi is one of the luckiest dogs on the planet. Instead of being "tossed aside" the "breeder" called a rescue group about this deformed little pup. The rescue was not prepared to take on a large breed dog (they only take in small dogs) and immediately called Dawg Squad. We dropped everything and went out to pick up Gnocchi.
Her right front leg is terribly deformed and will need to be amputated when she is about 3-4 months old. But right now she is getting along fine and is having a great time at her foster home with two other dogs and 3 cats. Gnocchi will live a full, long and healthy life with 3 legs...just ask our Bernie!
Gnocchi is a trooper...nothing can stop her now or will in the future. Amputation has been donated by a vet - no charge to the adopting party.
