Looking for a good home for a 1 year old Golden Retriever named Copper. He is fixed and house-broken but needs to have a doggie-door. He is used to spending some time outdoors during the day but likes to be inside with his family most of the time. Copper would be a good fit for a home with kids and especially with another dog. He loves playing with other dogs and hasn’t met a dog yet he doesn’t like. Copper would also be well—suited for a home where there is someone there with him a majority of the day as he doesn’t like a lot of alone time. He is young and needs follow on training to ensure he is a good boy. He learns quickly and has learned how to sit and lie down on command just in the last couple of months. He also will need some grooming upkeep as this is typical with goldens. And with a lot of puppy energy in him will need good excerise everyday, he loves to chase after a ball! I have no doubt that with a good amount of attention he will be a wonderful addition to any family and especially if that family already has a dog.
