Charlie the Chunk's Story...
Charlie is just over 2 months old. He was found wandering the streets. A kind woman scooped him up, cleaned him up and posted signs. After a few days she brought him to the shelter where he would not stand a chance at staying healthy. Luckily we got him before he was surrendered and he is healthy, eating well, working on his manners with sharing toys & food and working on house-training. He sleeps through the night and is coming to his name. He's too young to be neutered right now but we are hoping to get him in a home soon so his new family can participate in shaping him into a great dog. He's a husky mix of some sort. We are guessing some sort of shepherd mix but he does not appear to be a large breed puppy. At most he will probably be a medium sized dog when full grown.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Charlie the Chunk, a Los Angeles Husky/German Shepherd Dog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Husky/German Shepherd Dog for sale in Los Angeles, or seeking a Husky/German Shepherd Dog puppy from a breeder in Los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Husky/German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with Husky/German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
