Brownie's Story...
Brownie is a lab mix that we found wandering around the park in phoenix. A nice couple rescued her and took her into their own home with dogs and kids. She is about 5 years old and is fixed, vaccinated and ready for adoption. She lives with 2 small dogs and another lab mix. Brownie is very loving, gentle and sweet. Great with kids as small as babies and dogs of all sizes. She loves to play fetch and go for morning walks.

If you are looking for a mellow easy going dog, Brownie will be a great addition to your household. Brownie is a courtesy post with Valley Dogs Rescue. Please contact foster parents for info: Daven

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Brownie, a Gilbert Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Gilbert, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Gilbert.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Gilbert already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Gilbert breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Gilbert paves the way for another one to be saved.
