Spayed, Black/Tan, Dachsund-Mix Female --- Very Healthy &Teeth just freshly cleaned & not needing any extractions. Gentle/Affectionate & just loves people.
She was adopted as a puppy from an older couple, to which she grew accustomed to Laps & lots of lap-sitting. She is pretty energetic for her age & Very Smart & Intuitive to every little thing that is going on. She listens well & is a very well-behaved girl. She's Very Social & Loves to be close & will follow you in every room in the house. She & her roommate Rocky have their playful moments 2 or 3 times a day w/each other & stuffed toys. She loves a good helping of petting & receiving love. She will grow close to any dog-loving & caring human in a short time & become your best friend/buddy. She will wash & nurture Rocky's face & ears as her motherly instincts still come out. She is very healthy for her age & was well-cared for all her life & spoiled a bit. They were used to a doggie door & had NO Accidents w/one. She loves car rides, too and some short walks. She loves to sleep by you as well, unless you tell her she must sleep on her bed on the floor & she will.
CHILDREN: suggested they are over 8 or 10, depending on child
Other DOGS: She does OK--is fine w/my Lab, just occassionally gets a little jealous of attention I give to others, but is very nice about it.
CATS: she has adjusted w/mine(she had never seen 1 before 1 mo ago)
Ideal Situation: A middle-aged or older couple where @ least 1 person is home more through the day or a family with older children- possibly 10+.
Both Animals are being given up because their dog-loving owner died.
