My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi. My name is Toby. I thought my life was pretty good for a long time and then something happened now I am not so sure about anything anymore. Life didn't turn out the way it was supposed to for me when I was just two days old, my Mother was killed by a car. It was a hot afternoon and I was left laying in the sun squealing for help. I almost died that day but fortunately, a kind PetPromise volunteer found me and she loved me and fed me from a bottle and carried me around. I was so happy and even though the odds were stacked against me. I survived because I knew that people loved me. I was adopted by a couple and I was loved. I loved those people - they made me feel so happy! But then a baby was born and I was nervous and sad. I didn't always use my litter box and my people got so angry at me. I didn't know what I did wrong. Before I understood what was happening I was returned to PetPromise. My heart was breaking. I had lost the people that loved me - the people I loved and I had no idea why. Thank goodness that PetPromise was here to take me back or I could have been taken to a shelter where, well ANYTHING could have happened to me. I guess I will never have a home of my very own again where I can give my special kitty kisses and be carried around like a baby. I still have accidents now and then but is that a reason to give up a family member? I know that there has to be someone out there that will love me forever no matter what. Isn't there?
