I was homeless and ended up on the 51 freeway during rush hour traffic. SCARY! Cars were so big whizzing by so fast and I'm only 7lbs, my paws were burning from the heat of summer and when my foster mom spotted me I finally collapsed from heat exhaustion, I was done. My foster mom carefully approached me while nice people made a caravan to try and keep me from running directly into traffic in case I got a burst of energy, but I did not thankfully. Foster momma was able to grab me right away 'cuz I was so terribly confused, petrified and succumbing to heat exhaustion by then. Weird how the worst most horrific day in the world was also my luckiest, I won the doggie lotto cuz the lady who saved me is now my loving foster momma who dedicates her life to saving animals!
I was immediately rushed to a vet and given fluids for dehydration and treated not only for heat exhaustion but I was also infested with yucky ticks, completely covered head to toe. You couldn't even see in my ears they were so bad. I even had to stay the night at the vet to make sure I would be ok. I perked up the next day and my foster mom picked me up and now I'm living the good life with her and my foster pack! I am clean (100% tick free thank you), vaccinated, healthy, spayed and micro-chipped, safe, LOVED, and eating two healthy meals a day. I sleep in bed with foster momma and she carries me around like a lil baby cuz I know how to be extra cute, it's the way I look at her and wrinkle my nose, I know how to work it!
I am a typical lil' chi girl. I'm quite saucy (all the boy dogs dig me!), feisty, playful and I already think I rule the roost. I get along great with all the pack, all sizes, ages and personality types but once in awhile I get a lil' talkin' too cuz I can be a smidge bossy, C'mon, I'm a chi would you expect less? I'm only brazen sometimes and I'm still a youngin' so I am responding well to listening to my foster ma, plus some of the other dogs don't exactly take to being sassed by a 7 lb juvie!
I'm no more than a year old so still very playful and inquisitive. I am dog door trained and a very good girl and never potty in the house. If I'm not chasing your feet or grabbing the laundry from your hands egging you on to chase me i'm probably wrestling with my foster brothers and sisters, it's my fave, the more the merrier and I hold my own even though I'm the smallest of the bunch! I also love to chase small squeaky tennis balls and actually hop like a bunny while I run through the yard, again, working it! Let's just say I know how to be extraordinarily freaking ADORABLE!
Then of course I shine with my cuddling abilities! I am a good lil' kisser, I'm 100% a wiggle butt and I follow foster ma everywhere she goes but manage to stay from underneath her feet which she always comments positively on. I snuggle in bed and sleep through the night, I will lay right against foster ma until she gets up! I'm keeping watch over her. I ADORE to be held and always want to lay on a human lap. Being held like baby and kissed is the bees knees I tell ya!
So, if you are looking for an absolutely charming, darling lil' spunkster who is hands down one of the most L-O-V-I-N-G and appreciative dogs her foster ma has rescued, please ask for Jez.
PS.... I aint affraid to wear a tutu either!!!
