Buddy Ray's Story...
http://www.valleydogs.org/buddyray.html -- Hi. I’m Buddy Ray. Don’t you love my ears?

I was owned by a nice lady who moved from her parents’ home where there were people and other dogs all the time into an apartment where I was by myself for long periods of the day. I got scared being by myself for so long and did some things I guess I shouldn’t have done. I wasn’t able to stay with her any longer.

The nice folks at Valley Dogs took me in. I am in a foster home now with other dogs. There is only one human at my foster home, and even though she is gone for long periods of the day, I have exhibited no problems. Having the other dogs to play with keeps me from getting bored and I don’t get scared since I am not all alone. Therefore, I must go to a home where the humans are home all the time or that has another dog to keep me company.

I am a very happy little guy. My ears are always perked up listening for you and my tail goes a mile a minute to show my joy. Sometimes I even smile. Mind you, I can be a bit timid of new people and new dogs at first, but just give me a little time to warm up and you will see this joyful, devoted, loving side of me.

I am house broken and have even been seen using the potty patch at my foster mom’s house. I love going for walks and seeing the world with you, but my favorite thing is to spend time with my humans. I love to cuddle, sit on laps, and soak in all the attention you can give me. I really love to sleep curled up next to you at night under the covers -- just to make sure you don’t get scared.

Hmmm, what else can I tell you about me? Ah shucks, why don’t you just come down and meet me. Be sure to ask for Buddy Ray.

Wouldn’t you like to meet me? If so, please complete an adoption interest form and email crystallarnold@msn.com

About Our Rescue Group...
We are a pending non-profit, no-kill rescue organization dedicated to rescuing and rehoming adoptable cats and dogs. We have over 40 years of combined rescue experience and knowledge.
Come Meet Our Pets...
We do not have a kennel / shelter type of facility. We believe the most effective and successful way to match families and pets is to foster them in our own homes. Ultimately fostering our rescue animals in homes rather than a kennel environment allows us to give you complete information on the pet's behavior and how well he / she will fit with your family and lifestyle.
Our Adoption Process...
At Valley Dogs we make every effort to place the right animal in the right home. To aid in this goal, we use trained Adoption Consultants to help you select the best match for your lifestyle. You will meet with an Adoption Consultant and discuss your lifestyle, activity level, expectations, likes/dislikes, and past experiences with animals. Your consultant will then recommend the best match for your family and your lifestyle.
We Serve the Following Cities, Towns, and/or Counties...
Phoenix and all surrounding cities: Mesa, Chandler, Queen Creek, Maricopa, Glendale, Gold Canyon, Scottsdale, Apache Junction, Tempe -- all cities!!
