Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi there! My name is Amber.
Amber is about a year old, spayed female Red Nose, Red Brindle American Pit Bull Terrier. She is in perfect health, up to date on all vaccines, spayed, micro-chipped, potty trained, familiar with a doggy door, very good on a leash, loves walks and car rides. She is totally ready to go! She is currently in boarding; we would love to find her a temporary foster home where she can hang out while she waits for adoption.
We took her in August 21 after she had been abandoned/dumped in the desert near South Mountain. When we took her in she was totally unsocialized, she is still a shy girl, but she has been socialized well in the last few months and has come along very well, and no longer fears people. She does not get along with other female dogs, though she adores all male dogs. She is a young girl, has lots of energy, is playful and athletic. She would be a great companion for an active person/family.
