Here's what the humans have to say about me:
My name is Cassi and I'm a 7 month old Shih Tzu. A nice man found me wandering the streets and dropped me off at a local PetSmart. They couldn't keep me, so they called Valley Dogs Rescue to see if anybody would want to take me.
My new foster mom showed up right away! I was shy at first, and just laid quietly in the car on the way home. Boy was I in for a surprise when I got to my new foster home. I had two new sisters and I was so excited! They didn't know what I was, but once they got done sniffing me, we started to play. Now we do everything together like running around the backyard or eating our chew treats. I am really well behaved, and my foster mom was surprised that I am pretty quiet (unlike my sisters). I am mostly potty trained, but sometimes I have to ask my foster mom and dad to take me out once during the night so I don't have an accident. Other than that, I sleep like a good girl in my kennel.
I overheard my foster mom talking about this "spay" surgery the other day. I don't know what it is, but once I have this surgery, I will be all ready for my new home! I love following my foster sisters around and playing with them, so hopefully my new home will have someone for me to play with too!
