Ciao!
My name is Bella Donna (which is beautiful lady in Italian), but all my close friends call me Belle.
I was found on a very rainy, cold morning in the East Valley. No collar, no tags, no way to identify me. I was very lucky to run across a nice lady who got me to a wonderful foster home with Valley Dogs Rescue. My foster mom loves me (and who wouldn’t?), but she already has a big dog and feels it best for me to find my own home since no one has come looking for me.
In addition to my foster brother, I have been around lots of other dogs and have done fabulous with them, as well as the humans they bring with them. What can I say; I am just a little social butterfly!
I am a typical Australian Shepherd mix – with lots of love and lots of energy. I would be best in a home with a large, secure yard for me to run and play and exert my energy. I may also do okay in a smaller home with someone who is very active and committed to taking me for daily (or more) runs, walks, or letting me run alongside a bicycle.
It would be fun to have another dog to play with when you aren’t able to spend time with me. That way I have someone to occupy my time and attention. I think I would also like kids to keep me on my toes and shower me with attention.
I have learned to walk better on a lead and am house trained. I am a beautiful girl with lots of love to give. Please come and meet me and see if I would be the right addition for your home.
