My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Aimee was found on the cold streets of Phoenix pregnant and ready to give birth several years ago. Valley Dogs placed all of the puppies in great homes and found a great home for Aimee. Unfortunately, since then Aimee's mom fell into financial trouble and was no longer able to care for her.

Aimee is back in her original foster home from years ago and is doing great. She felt instantly comfortable and is just once again one of the pack. Aimee gets along with all dogs, children and people. She has always been extremely mellow and pretty much takes care of herself. She really enjoys walks, cuddling time and playing with toys. She is used to using the doggie door and is completely reliable and trustworthy in the house alone all day while foster mommy works 9-10 hours.

As her former foster mom, I became really attached to her and I'm truly sad her original home was not her forever home. Please let me know if you have any questions or would like to meet my sweet little Aimee. I have way too many dogs of my own, so keeping her myself isn't an option. She will be best with a family with kids or even an elderly couple that purposely wants to adopt a slightly older dog that doesn't need training. She still has a lot of great years left, she should live to at least 15 or so. She is about 7 years old now, spayed, updated on shots and has a microchip.

She is extremely gentle with our special needs son and can tolerate the ear tugging, loud guitar playing, etc like a champ.
