My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Maggie is a beautiful 9 year old spayed female cat. Her owner, who adopted her as a kitten, was moving and could no longer keep her. Poor Maggie ended up at a large kill shelter where she was not wanted because she is older and black. Luckily, she was scanned for a microchip and her original rescue was contacted. That rescue is no longer working with cats, so Maggie is in a temporary foster home until she can find a new home of her own.

Maggie is sweet but very shy. According to Maggie’s former owner, she is ok but not great with other cats and dogs. In her current foster home, she is not interested in interacting with the other animals and does not cause any trouble. She might be happiest as an only pet.

Poor Maggie has been through a lot in the past few months. We know she will make someone a wonderful companion. She is spayed, current on vaccines, combo tested and microchipped. Please share and help Maggie find her forever home.
