My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Two year old Willow was found deposited in a rural dog pound. Product of a divorce, Dogworks took her into rescue.... A bit shy, this cute female Chihuahua mixed with Pug (?) has a white with brown coat and a tail that curls a top her back.. Very friendly, sweet girl who starts out quiet but once comfortable her playfulness is apparent.... She does need to lose some weight. With someone to show her attention, interact and love her, weight should come off easily. Housebroke, crate trained, needs work on leash walking. Has been fine with other dogs and cats. Currently being fostered in a home without children. Due to size, home with older school age children or all adults may be best Adoption fee includes, spay, vaccine update, heartworm check and G.I. deworming. Adoption fee $160. For application or questions: www.DogworksOhio.com

**A note from her current foster: Willow is good with other dogs and will play with them if they do not try to hurt her. She likes to cuddle and loves attention from caregiver. She loves and hogs all attention she can get & doesn't like to share attention from caregiver with other dogs (she will growl at other dogs). She does listen though and can be easily corrected when another dog comes around for attention. Starts out shy for a few days in new home. Once comfortable in a home she opens up and is friendly and active. Older (age 7 or older) children best because she has never lived with children. Compatibility with cats unknown.
