We primarily serve the Central TX area but have pulled animals from across the US and do adopt out of state from time to time depending on the circumstances.

This process varies from dog to dog. We generally take on special cases that require more time and effort than normal rescues. Our dogs usually go through training, and each dog has specific guidelines as to they type of home that would be a good fit for them. Generally our adoption fee is $75 and requires an application be filled out and a meet and greet between the dog being adopted and the people/pets in the potential household. Sometimes we do require more extensive adoption requirements because of a dog's particular placement requirements. Adoption fees are at the discretion of our agency and may vary for each dog.

To improve the adoption probability of rescue and shelter dogs and minimize the surrendering and euthanasia of dogs by their owners due to behavioral and obedience issues through proper training and handling techniques and care of dogs as well as providing assistance in training through instruction by approved trainers and scholarships for individuals in need of training for their dogs.
We have also recently expanded our mission to include the rescue and placement of dogs into permanent homes.

When someone is breeding puppies or breeding kittens, they are creating new dogs and cats who need homes. Some people are interested in a very specific breed of dog, cat, puppy or kitten and they think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a dog for sale or buy a cat for sale from a puppy breeder or a kitten breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs and cats who must find homes.
So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder or buying a cat or kitten for sale from a cat breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog, adopt a cat, adopt a puppy or adopt a kitten at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
